Who can enter the contest?

• Participation in this contest does not require a purchase.

• It is not required to currently be a member of the IKO to participate in the contest

• Contestants must be over the age of 18

• Contestants must ensure that their photo is visible on the hashtag page, if an account is set to private, the photo will not be visible on the hashtag page and you are not entered into the contest.

• The contest is open worldwide

• Any account that produces spam or spams the Instagram account of the IKO will be disqualified and is not eligible to participate

How to enter the contest?

To enter the contest you must:

• Follow the @ikointl account

• Tag 2 friends in the comments below the post announcing this contest

• Post a photo or regram an old photo and use the #kitewithIKO

Contestants must complete all steps required for this contest to be eligible to win

The photos posted should adhere to the following IKO Standards:

• Safety leashes must be attached on the front of the harness 

• Right of Way rules need to be respected

• If the picture displays a lesson, the students must wear a helmet. The students must also wear a buoyancy aid if in the water.

• There should be no obstacles in the wind window

How will the winner be picked and announced?

• There will be an announcement that the contest will close soon when the IKO Instagram account has reached 9950 followers

• An announcement will be made when 10K followers has been reached and the contest is closed.

• Winners will be announced once the @ikointl Instagram account reaches 10K followers within 1 week after closing the contest

• Winners will be announced on our social media platforms: Instagram and Facebook

• Winners will receive a Direct Message on Instagram from IKO to inform them of their win. 

• Winners will have to respond to this message with their email address within a week.

• If a winner does not respond within a week, a new winner will be chosen.

• In the event of a dispute over the identity of the winner (e.g. if an Instagram account is managed by more than 1 person), a new winner will be chosen.

How will the winners receive their prize?

• The prize will be distributed in the form of a voucher on the IKO account of the Winner

• If the Winner is not currently a member of the IKO, they need to create an account on the IKO website to receive their prize

• The monetary vouchers can be used for all products on the IKO website including pro-courses

• The IKO can use the photos entered in the contest with the # to share on our Social Media platforms: Facebook and Instagram

• Any personal information supplied by you to the IKO will be subject to IKO’s privacy policy: https://www.ikointl.com/privacy-policy. The IKO will not sell, rent, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party.

• Instagram is not responsible for any obligations that are part of this contest

• This contest is in no way endorsed, sponsored, administered by or associated with Instagram
