The Windy season is from July to January. These winds typically blow at speeds ranging between 20 to 30 knots, creating reliable and robust wind conditions. This makes it an ideal playground for kitesurfers of all skill levels.
In addition to the ideal wind conditions, the weather during this season is characterized by warm temperatures, minimal rainfall, and dry conditions. Daytime temperatures typically range from 26°C to 32°C (79°F to 90°F), while water temperatures are around 28°C (82°F). This combination of wind and weather conditions ensures that kitesurfers can enjoy a thrilling and comfortable kitesurfing experience in this beautiful tropical setting. Jericoacoara and Prea remain a popular destination for kitesurfing enthusiasts during this dry, windy season.
