Our spot deserves to be known. We have a shallow lagoon with clear and very calm water without rip current. The spot has only been sailing for 7 years and there are a maximum of 10 wings in the water. Perfect for beginners as well as for freestylers, there is also something to satisfy freeriders and waveriders into the lagoon and towards the coral reef with a beautiful right wave. For those who have the required level, when you will ride into the lagoon, you will be amazed by the extraordinary view of Mauritius The beach start is delicate because it is narrow and there are some rocks in front of the beach. Also and even if there is only sand in the Anse, it is strongly advised to wear boots because there are extremely sharp shells. And as usual, think about sunglasses, sunscreen, your towel and your bottle of water;)

April, May, June, July, august And September are the best months to visit our spot of Anse La Raie.

But you can find wind all along the year for foiling and wingfoiling.

Wind/Weather
The wind is about 10 to 30 knots.
The best wind direction is from North East to South East.
From South, the wind is very gusty on the beach but into the lagoon, the wind is more constant.

Temperature of air in winter (June, July, August) is about is between 17 to 28 degrees and during summer (December to March) is about 25 to 32 degrees.
Temperature of water in winter is about 21 to 25 degrees and during summer is from 25 to 30 degrees.

We advise to wear a shorty or a full 3/2mm wetsuit during winter
