Venturi Kite Center is the most complete School in El Yaque, offering high quality kite-courses with personalized, tailor-made tuition in German, English, Spanish or Afrikaans, kite rentals, kite-safaris and all types of kite repairs.
Courses/Instructions
Classes are very personalized, never more than two students per instructor, and only if the students are on the same level. We have a long beach with cross-shore wind and a large shallow water area to teach the first lessons, and we follow our students closely by boat for more advanced body-drag/riding classes, so no lesson-time is lost by walking back along the beach.
Equipment
Best kites, Cabrinha and Crazyfly boards. There is a large selection of equipment to choose from. There are all sizes from 3,5m to 18m, thus we can ride from 7knots wind upwards. There is a good selection of the latest boards in all sizes and models to chose from.
Best Season
The best time to learn kiteboarding is between the middle of October through middle of August. For kiters who like to ride hard, fly high, be nicely powered up and ride all day long, the best time is from the beginning of February to the end of May. In those months the wind is often a little too strong for classes in the afternoons.

Wind/Weather
There is wind all year around, although in September it is light and there are some consecutive days without wind. General conditions are between 15 to 25 knots, from February though to including May many afternoons are above 25 knots, usually under 40 knots. Watertemperature has a pleasant average of 27 degrees all year round, never colder than 26 on some days in January, February, reaching 29 degrees for most of the summer months.
