Cabarete is a must for any kitesurfing or wing enthusiasts! Temperatures are more than pleasant, and the water can be surfed and sailed almost all year long. Early in the morning, don’t hesitate to rent a SUP and go for a ride on the lagoon before the trade winds pick up. Follow it up with a local breakfast, then get back to the water! The lagoon of Cabarete which is just in front of the ION CLUB Cabarete center reaches wind speeds of around 20-25 knots most of the time and depending on the season … you can’t find that everywhere !
