Kite Junkies was born on the 1st of July 2007. Kev, Diane, Pedro and their helpful team are your hosts at Sharm El Sheikh's first and only IKO approved Kitesurfing Centre. The centre is located in Nabq, a newly developed area on the north side of Sharm el Sheikh. <br> <br>Only 10 minutes from the airport and on the doorstep of many new low-rise 5 star resorts the spot remains picturesque and unspoilt. <br> <br>We believe that your time spent here should be more of an experience and not just a kitesurfing holiday. Whether you're a total beginner or an advanced rider the Kite Junkies team will do their best to attend to your every kitesurfing need. Many guests have been returning year after year to kite on the super safe lagoon for more than 4 years now. <br> <br>For new comers to the sport it doesn't get more ideal and safe than the Nabq shallow lagoon on the doorstep of our Kite Office located at the beach. Courses/Instructions
Besides the most popular IKO level 1 & 2 course we are more than happy to tailor suit any lesson for all levels.

We have plenty of instructors on hand to suit all age ranges and several languages including English, Russian, Arabic, Italian, French, Portuguese.

As we are operating in a shallow water lagoon, the instructors will never be far away. This means a constant flow of tuition and correction leading to speedy learning.
Equipment
We are constantly upgrading and renewing our equipment through the year. What this means is that you are assured of learning on new and reliable equipment with the latest improvements and safety systems. We use Naish Bolts and Ozone Catalysts for lessons and rentals. Both these kites have a great wind range and big de-power along with easy water re-launch (as a beginner you WILL crash the kite). We also have a wide range of boards to suit all ages and rider sizes. Board brands are mostly Nobile. All lessons go out with radio contact with the office ensuring maximum safety and constant update of conditions.
Best Season
Sharm El Sheikh has great conditions all year around. The winter months (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and March) are what we consider our best months. The main reason for this is winter brings with it stronger winds and more hours of wind per day, a great time for trying out our wave spot.

In the summer months (June, July Aug and Sept) we also get consistent winds but most of the time from early morning till midday, great for families as they have the afternoon to spend together.

Either side of winter and summer we tend to have a mixture of both seasons and often have sea breezes from the south in the afternoon, our predominant wind direction is from the north.

All year round is great for lessons and free-riders it all depends on what you are looking for. We recommend you to contact us before booking, we give you honest answers regarding the conditions.
